Im-aj Recognized with Multiple Awards in International Competition

Providence, RI (November 25, 2009) – Im-aj Communications & Design, Inc. has earned four awards in the 2009 MarCom competition, including highly esteemed Platinum and Gold distinctions. The MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing communications professionals. This year’s winners were chosen from almost 5,000 entries from throughout the United States and several foreign countries.

Im-aj received the Platinum statuette for a Capabilities Kit created for Pannone, Lopes, Devereaux & West, LLC. The folder and inserts, including attorney biographies and a brochure, were created as a basis for the firm’s growing brand and expansion.

The Rhode Island Housing FirstHomes100 “100 Things to Know” PSA Campaign took home a Gold award. This multi-media campaign was created to launch two loan products – FirstHomes100 and FirstHomes100+ – and included television, radio, print and billboard advertisements, all conceptualized, written/scripted, designed and art directed by Im-aj. Each of the ads effectively directed homebuyers to visit www.rhodeislandhousing.org for a list of “100 Things to Know Before You Buy a Home” and information about the safe loan products.

A Gold statuette was also awarded for the Rhode Island Housing Marketing Communications Plan. This comprehensive plan involved extensive research and provided detailed strategies, messaging, and recommendations for retail initiatives and branding, event strategy, and marketing communications for the agency’s LeadSafe program.

The Summer 2009 Annual Report Card for The College Crusade of Rhode Island earned an Honorable Mention in the international competition. In response to tightened budgets, this edition of the newsletter – entitled Inspire. Support. Believe. – was designed as an effective replacement for their popular annual report. It included several articles as well as an easy-to-read report on the results of their work with students during the 2007-2008 school year.
