Im-aj Receives National Acclaim

Im-aj Communications & Design, Inc. has been honored with four highly coveted awards by the American Graphic Design Awards. The winning pieces are published in this month’s edition of Graphic Design USA, a 250-page annual publication highlighting the industry’s most impressive work. Among the winning entries was the logo Im-aj created for HomeLocatorRI.net – a home and rental search website sponsored by Rhode Island Housing, The Housing Network of Rhode Island, Public Housing Association of Rhode Island and Rhodes to Independence.

Taking home top honors for a multi-media campaign was the Rhode Island Housing FirstHomes100 “100 Things to Know” campaign. This public service campaign was created to help consumers make informed buying decisions and to launch two low-interest loan products – FirstHomes100 and FirstHomes100+. Each of the ads effectively directed potential homebuyers to visit www.rhodeislandhousing.org for a list of “100 Things to Know Before You Buy a Home.” The campaign included television, radio, print, web and billboard advertisements. Im-aj branded the products and the campaign and planned and created every part of the campaign.

The Rhode Island Housing Bringing You Home E-newsletter designed and written by Im-aj to effectively communicate the state of housing in Rhode Island, also received high honors in the competition.

In addition, Im-aj won for a Capabilities Kit for Pannone, Lopes, Devereaux & West, LLC. The folder, brochure and inserts includes an introduction to the firm’s brand, biographies for each attorney and service line brochures, and was designed to launch the law firm’s expanded brand, service lines and new locations while complementing the new website, also created by Im-aj.

For more than four decades, Graphic Design USA has sponsored national design competitions for creative excellence. The American Graphic Design Awards is the biggest and broadest of all Award venues, open to the entire creative community, and honoring works across all media.
